BP scouring Dutch countryside for boy with very large thumb
According to the very reliable Dutch blog GeenStijl, British Petroleum executives are scouring the Dutch countryside looking for a boy with a very large thumb.
BP thinks he could be the answer to a minor oil spill in de Gulf of Mexico. Mind you! BP can’t choose just any Dutch boy. For this to work, they need someone who fit very exact specifications. According to their casting call published in De Telegraaf applicants must have blond hair, be under five feet tall, have the mental age of a ten year old and be called Rutger.
But that’s thousands of feet under water, you’re probably thinking.
The poor kid will surely die down there.
Rest assured that BP and Transocean have got everything planned out perfectly. Other than the threat of boredom, the boy will have nothing to worry about. So, being Dutch that won’t be much of a change anywhay. Company representatives promise that even at that amazing depth, with its high pressure and strong, unpredictable ocean currents the boy will be perfectly safe. This is BP, after all. Known for being the safest energy company around - with the possible exception of Massey Coal Mine.
Wow, it seems BP found him already.
