Verbazend.
Green diets for daughters, bananas and potatoes for sons?
The Dutch study asked 32 women who already had boys to try a special “little girl diet” high in calcium and magnesium.
This meant eating foods like goat’s cheese salad, vegetable stew and rice pudding. Foods like potatoes and bananas, which have high levels of potassium, that is believed to lead to boys, were restricted.
The result of the five-year project was that 26 women had girls and only six gave birth to boys. [read on] (more…)
There are openly gay people in the Republican Party. Yes, there are. For example Christopher Barron the chairman of GOProud. Though he states that he is not a Republican but a conservative Republican.
Cenk Uygur, here on MSNBC, tries to get hm to explain why he is a Republican.
Why be in that party that hates you. Why not for example be a conservative Democrat? This being an America politician, the answer you get to that question is: zero on substance, max on bullshit.
UYGUR: All right. President Obama has said many times if you want to go forward, you put it in “D.” If you want to go backwards, you put it in “R.” Get it?
All right. Now, the president and the Democrats made history last week. They repealed “Don`t Ask, Don`t Tell,” and that is a huge step forward for gay rights.
But, as always, the “Grand Old Party” is stuck in the stone age. Two major conservative groups, Concerned Women for America and the Family Research Council, are boycotting the conservative political action conference this year. They`re out — they`re sitting it out because GOProud, a national organization of gay conservatives, was invited to the event.
For more on this, let`s turn to the chairman of the board of GOProud, Christopher Barron.
All right, Chris. First, let me get it out of the way. Why on God`s green earth are you even a Republican?

Styleite - Doutzen Kroes’s baby bump may have sidelined her Victoria’s Secret gig, but that doesn’t mean she can’t star in cute Dutch coffee ads!
The Douwe Egberts commercial is shot entirely in Dutch, but the plot is pretty easy to pick up on: a teenage Doutzen stops by her grandma’s house and shows her some pictures from a recent beachy excursion. Her grandma sips on her coffee while she looks at the photos, and realizes that Doutzen should become a supermodel. (by Julia Rubin | 4:31 pm, December 28th, 2010)

Some men who have water storage facilities have developed close relationship with women and young girls. Women have found themselves either knowingly or unknowingly falling in love with such men. These men take advantage of shortage of water in the village while they have plenty of it and lure women and young girls for sexual exploits. They walk into their homes during night asking for water before men raping them.
QUESTION: I understand that you are faced with prolonged drought and shortage of food, when did you start experiencing such problems?
ANSWER: The water woes in the ward started way back in 2004 after Hifadhi Ardhi Dodoma (HADO) project, which had the aim of re-greening the area by planting trees, protecting soil erosion, reserved forests and water catchments areas, and reducing the number of livestock closed its operations. When the project closed it business in 2004, many residents started felling down trees for charcoal and farming while others grazed their cattle in the reserved forests.

America is in a constant fight against all evil. Not only elsewhere in the world but also at home, for example in Easton, Pennsylvania. There two girls, Brianna Hawk, 13, and Kayla Martinez, 12, wore bracelets to school on October 28, with the text: I love boobies.
Mind you, with the support of their parents. Maybe because it was Breastcancer Awareness Day in their school.
And then… all hell broke loose.
The bracelets were banned and the girls were suspended a day-and-a-half from school for “defiance/disruption/disrespect” and they were forbidden from attending the big middle school dance.
I love Boobies - The Keep A Breast Foundation’s mission is to help eradicate breast cancer by exposing young people to methods of prevention, early detection and support.
And, being America, of course they all ended up in court. There the brave school district lawyer John E. Freund III had the task of interrogating the two dirty girls.
“That phrase, ‘I Love Boobies,’ do you see any other meaning to that? Say especially from boys’ perspective?” Freund asked 13-year-old Brianna Hawk.
“No.” Hawk said.
“Do you thinks boys would have a natural attraction to girls breasts?” Freund asked.
“Yes,” Hawk said.
“So couldn’t it possibly mean something else?”
“No,” insisted Hawk, because in the context of the bracelet that simply was not possible, she said.
Kayla Martinez, 12, conceded some boys could behave in a less than mature fashion. “But they”, she said dismissively, “are boys who act like they are two.”
At Easton Area Middle School, they choose to celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month as well as a special awareness day on October 28, at which point all hell broke loose. See, teachers had seen See, teachers had seen “I ♥ Boobies!” bracelets floating around, and “though the bracelets had yet to cause a disruption, schooldirector DiVietro said, teachers warned that they might in the future.”

Not very long from now there will be two armies in the United States. One army for straights and one army for gays. These armies will have segregated sleeping facitities. And there will be different bathroom facilities and all those kind of things. That is the opinionof Republican military expert representative Mike Conaway.
Well I’d say America is lucky if they can keep it down to two armies.
Because of course men and women soldiers can’t bunk together, and gays and straight soldiers can’t. Let’s see, let’s make a list of future armies in the U.S. One army for straight men, one for straight women, one for gay men and one for lesbian women.
So obviously it’s not gonna be easy to move around on an American army base in the future. That’s why the military has started to prepare special tourguides to explain exactly who is allowed to go where to sleep, pee and shit.
Very soon there will be segregation of gay and straight troops in the U.S.
Ahead of President Obama’s signing of the Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell repeal today, Rep. Mike Conaway (R-TX) — who sits on the House Armed Services Committee — predicted that ending the military’s discriminatory policy would lead to a segregation of gay and straight troops. “You’re going to accommodate folks’ preferences as to whether or not they want to be in the same sleeping arrangements or bathroom facilities, all those kinds of things,” Conaway told the Wichita Falls Times Recorder Monday:

Comparing a woman dressed in a burqa to… a penguin.
Admiring a woman because of her… sexy feet.
Practicing making a pass at a muslim woman… on a curtain.
Where are we, you ask? In the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden?
No, we are in Pakistan.
The Pakistani comedian Saad Haroon is having fun with the burqa and the women who wear it. Don’t worry, he’s still alive.
ZeeNews, Islamabad - A song that delves into the “will-she”, “won’t she” suspense of dating a burqa-clad woman is rubbing a lot of Pakistanis the wrong way.
The video of Burqa Woman, the song by stand-up comic Saad Haroon set to the melody of the classic Roy Orbison hit Pretty Woman, features a burqa-wearing woman who eventually does end the suspense by texting her “yes” to her “sweetu” — without of course unveiling herself!

Penelope Cruz, the actress famous for her sensuous roles and intriguing relationships with Hollywood co-stars, is pregnant. Nothing wrong with that. What is wrong, according to rightwing Americans and Fox News, is that she decided to give birth in the United States.
That prompted Fox News Latino (in a story removed from the site later) to claim that she was “having an anchor baby.” Turns out that Fox News even writes its Latino site from the perspective of a white Tea Party activist. But it’s not just that the term is offensive. In Penelope’s case, it’s absolutely wrong.
True she’s a little like brownish… but she’s not Latino, she’s Spanish.
What is an ‘anchor baby’?
The term originates in the notion that undocumented immigrants seek specifically to have children born in the United States. The logic goes that those children will automatically be citizens because of the birthright citizenship clause in the 14th amendment. [read on] (more…)
Don’t Ask Don’t Tell is afgeschaft.
Senate passes DADT repeal, President Obama will sign bill into law
By a 65-31 majority the American Senate voted to repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, the policy which bans gays from openly serving in the military. Six moderate Republican senators voted for repeal: Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, Scott Brown, Lisa Murkowski, George Voinovich, and Mark Kirk. Two more Republicans — John Ensign and Richard Burr — joined the Democrats in the final passage. [read on] (more…)
The House of Representatives has just passed H.R. 6520, the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell Repeal Act of 2010,” by a vote of 250-175. The bill that makes it possible for gays and lesbians to openly serve in the U.S. military.
Now it’s back to the Senate where a similar bill was blocked last week by three votes. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) will attempt to bring the bill to the floor of the Senate in the next few days, where it will still need 60 votes.
“Nearly eight in 10 Americans favor allowing gays and lesbians to serve openly in the military, according to a new Washington Post-ABC News poll.” With 77 percent of the public supporting open service, the results “signal continued widespread public support for ending” the military’s 17-year ban on gays in the military.
FIFA-president, Sepp Blatter: I would say that [gay fans] should refrain from any sexual activities. [laughter] No, but we are living in a world of freedom and I’m sure when the World Cup will be in Qatar…you will see in the Middle East the opening of this culture. … I think there shall not be any discrimination against any human beings being on this side or that side or left or right of whatever because football is a game that does not effect any discrimination… If they want to watch a match somewhere in the Qatar in 2022, I’m sure they will be admitted to such matches.
FIFA President Blatter says gays football fans ‘should refrain from any sexual activities’ in Qatar
Earlier this month, FIFA shocked world soccer supporters when it chose the small Middle Eastern country of Qatar to host the World Cup in 2022. While many observers called the process corrupt, it also appeared unusual for a global audience, not only because of the country’s scorching summertime heat, but also because of some prohibitive local customs, for example limits on alcohol consumption and on provocative dress, and the fact that women are “subject to gender discrimination under a range of laws and practices” and homosexuality is illegal.
