Conservatives boo the American public.
During a GOP presidential debate last night, Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) said, “I think the American people - if we as a party realize this and understand it - seventy-some percent of the people in America want the war over with. They’re sick and tired of it. And they want our troops to come home.” Paul was immediately drowned out by a chorus of boos from the audience. Watch it:
UPDATE: Carpetbagger has more from the debate.

you should have seen CNN this morning. Their debate ‘coverage’ was a montage of each candidate taking a shot at Hillary. Except Ron Paul, who was missing from their coverage completely. Pathetic and transparent.

This is good. The Republicans have isolated themselves and dumb*ss monkey followers inside a bullet-proof bubble. They simply cannot see that the party is heading off the cliff.

Which goes to show how this audience was most likely screened to make sure only members of the 24% got in. Even Repubs who oppose the war in Iraq (and there are plenty of them) either didn’t make the cut or kept their mouths shut.

I swear these GOPers don’t know what they want. The poll for the winner of the debate that FOX took right after went to who….RON PAUL!
