Dollar not a model currency.
Gisele Bundchen is the world’s highest paid model, and “to stay that way she is insisting that she be paid in almost any currency but the U.S. dollar.” Patricia Bundchen, the model’s twin sister and manager, said: “Contracts starting now are more attractive in euros because we don’t know what will happen to the dollar.” The dollar has fallen 34 percent since 2001, but forecasters say it will weaken even more as U.S. home sales fall and the Federal Reserve cuts interest rates.

UPDATE: CNBC reports that Anne Nelson, another one of Gisele’s managers, says the story is false. ‘Some idiot in Brazil reported something just to make news,’ she said.

US Dollar is now worth 93.38 cents Canadian, vs 1.10 at the beginning of the year.

That’s what happens when TRAITORS get hold of your government and spend 2.4 TRILLION, most of which goes to war profiteers.
And 4000 US soldiers and 1,000,000 Iraqis DEAD for LIES.

no one I know that lives outside the US (consultants, small companies) does business in the USD anymore. If they do, they get a clause that protects them from all or most loss. If that supermodel did get paid in USD and hasn’t switched to euro or GBP, she likely soon will. No I know how it feels to be Canadian
