The quality of the Republican presidential candidates is abominable. And they keep revealing their stupidity to the world. And the reporters are not any better. Yesterday there was a presidential debate in South Carolina. Fox News’ host Bret Baier asked a question from the book of the right wing’s anti-Turkey campaign.
“Since the Islamist-oriented party took over in Turkey,” Baier said. He also stated that the murder rate of women has increased, press freedom has declined, and the country has “embraced Hamas” and threatened military action against Israel. He then asked Gov. Rick Perry (R-TX) if “Turkey still belongs in NATO.”
Perry: “Obviously when you have a country that is being ruled by what many would perceive to be Islamic terrorists, when you start seeing that type of activity against their own citizens, then, yes.”

“Rick Perry’s presidential campaign is in trouble. So, they’re now selling his merchandise two for one. You get a foam finger, a key chain & I forget the third thing.”

Everything Perry knows about Turkey is from Baier´s question.
At the next debate please ask him if we should intervene and topple the Communist regime in Canada.
