Drugs finally got the best of Whitney Houston, 1963 - 2012.
This is what former Michigan Republican chairman Paul Anuzis had to say about the add Republican Pete Hoekstra aired at the Super Bowl. Hoekstra, who is an immigrant born in Groningen in the Netherlands, wants to become the senator of Michigan, a seat now held by Democrat Debbie Stabenow.

The Business Committee of the Parliament of Uganda will discuss an earlier proposed Anti Homosexuality bill next week. After criticism from developed countries worldwide, it was thought the bill had died in Parliament last year but apparently that's not true.
In the bill are death penalty provisions for certain homosexual activities and a requirement for Ugandans to report every gay and lesbian they know to the autorities.
Rumors have it the bill is discussed again because the Ugandan business community thinks killing gays is good for business.
UGPulse - The Anti Homosexuality bill 2009 and the Marriage and Divorce bill are due for debate when parliament resumes business next week. The two controversial bills that raised public debate during the 8th Parliament are up for consideration when the Business committee of the House sits next week.
