Fact-checking the latest global warming denial campaign.
When NASA’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies recently announced that it was revising its temperature data, right-wing bloggers leaped at the news to propel its global warming denial campaign. James Hansen - head of the NASA center - sets the record straight. He writes that the “corrected and uncorrected curves are indistinguishable,” adding that the ‘deceit’ propagated by the right ‘has a clear purpose: to confuse the public about the status of knowledge of global climate change’.

Ron.. Global Climate Change is a cannard invented by leftists who have no other battles to fight in the industrial world. They need to feel ‘helpless’ to feel fufilled.

I understand why the oil lobby has their ’scientists’ denying global warming. Trailer trash like Ken an I? They are just invested in the right wing dogma.

Anybody who denies global warming exists is uninformed or ignorant. However, the consensus that global warming is caused by human activity is misguided.

You have stumbled upon a strawman argument put forth by the global warming deniers. The consensus is not that ‘global warming is caused by human activity’, but that its effects are worsened by human activity. Please make this correction in your understanding of the situation.
