Of doen wij weer onder voor de Fransen? Die staan namelijk ‘met open armen klaar’ om de te verwachten stroom van vluchtende Walen en Brusselaars op te vangen. Dat schrijft de Franse Gaullist Nicolas Dupont-Aignan. De parlementariër is er van overtuigd dat het vechten wordt in België. Hij roept Frankrijk op nu al voorbereidingen te treffen voor de Walen die moeten vluchten voor rovende en plunderende Vlamingen. Gezegd moet worden dat JdeW grote waarde hecht aan de uitspraken van dit parlementslid want - eerlijk is eerlijk - Fransen weten natuurlijk alles van op de vlucht slaan.
Maar als het inderdaad vechten wordt in België, en Frankrijk trekt het land binnen om de Walen te beschermen, wat gaat Nederland dan doen? En ik geef u op een briefje dat die Fransen gelijk het meest aantrekkelijke deel van België gaan bezetten: kiesdistrict Brussel-Halle-Vilvoorde. Daarom deze vraag. Laten we ons land opnieuw afpakken door die Franse katholieken of steken we daar een STOKJE voor!

Dutchman Patrick de Bruin has offered to donate his sperm to four fertility clinics in the Netherlands in an effort to promote what he calls “a strong white race”. Neo-Nazi De Bruin (in English:The Brown) attached the condition that his sperm should only be used for white couples’ infertility treatment.
More remarkable even is that two clinics in the Netherlands agreed to his conditions, an investigation by public broadcaster VARA revealed. One of the hospitals later decided to destroy the sperm donated by the ideologically motivated donor. The incident prompted calls from fertility doctors for stricter guidelines.
De Bruin wrote on an extreme-right web forum that he was donating his “Aryan seed” in order to compensate for the high birth rate among Muslims. He wants as many blond blue-eyed children to be born as possible, he wrote on the site: Stormfront.

He explained that he left them “along frequently traveled routes for unlawful entrants to the United States.” He belongs to a group called “No More Deaths,” and the opinion quotes his testimony: “humanitarian aide [sic] is never a crime.”
The majority overturned his conviction because a reasonable person might not understand that leaving drinking water for people dying of thirst is littering. The United States countered that the water bottles constitute “garbage” in the sense of the statute. After foraging through some dictionary definitions of “garbage” and “discarded,” the majority concludes that the regulation is too ambiguous to enforce in this case.
Democratie begint op school. Op Amerikaanse scholen zijn er al verkiezingen voor klassevertegenwoordigers vanaf tien jaar. Gekozen worden een voorzitter, een vice-voorzitter, een secretaris en dan helemaal onderaan het JdeWitje, de reporter.

UPDATE, augustus 31st, 2010: Volgens advocaat Gerard Spong heeft Desi Bouterse een hersenbloeding gehad. „In medische kringen in Suriname weten ze het nu 75 tot 85 procent zeker”, aldus Spong. Volgens hem heeft Bouterse verschillende cardiologen geraadpleegd en kwamen zij tot deze conclusie.
De discussie over wat wel en niet kan in Suriname is nu toch losgebarsten. Een beetje laat, zegt u, de verkiezingen zijn al geweest? Correct, maar je moet een keer beginnen. De discussie werd aangezwengeld door de wegens drugshandel tot zes jaar veroordeelde Ronnie Brunswijk. Hij blijkt grote problemen te hebben met minister Martin Misiedjan (Justitie/Politie). En Brunswijk spreekt namens een groot deel van de Surinaamse bevolking.
Brunswijk vindt namelijk dat bovenstaand kapsel niet kan.
De schaar er in, is zijn keiharde politieke standpunt.
Dus na Geert Wilders’ kopvoddentax in Nederland hebben we nu ook Brunswijks rasta-ban in Suriname. Misiedjan - gespecialiseerd in mensenrechten en een belijdend lid van de Rastafari-kerk - heeft geen gevolg gegeven aan de oproep.
Geruchten gaan dat Ronnie Brunswijk de uitnodiging om met Geert Wilders te spreken op de 9/11 anti-moskee rally in New York heeft afgeslagen zolang het internationale opsporingsbevel tegen hem niet is ingetrokken.
U denkt misschien waar is Mario de Kort uit Goirle? De laatste dagen heeft hij zich niet vertoond op drasties. Solidair met DSR zeker?
Niets daarvan mensen. Mario heeft het druk met andere zaken. Zoals het aanleggen van zijn voorraad hout voor de winter. Ik weet dat want, dat mag ik u wel verklappen, ik krijg al jaren brandhout van Mario.
Kijk zo gemakkelijk is het voorspellen van de toekomst.
De vraag is wel of hier sprake is van enige medeplichtigheid of niet?

According to this Gallup Poll more Americans believe history will judge the Iraq war as a failure (53%) than as a success (42%). There has been very little variation over the past four years in this view even as Americans became somewhat more positive in that period of how the war went. So Americans clearly see it different than Senator and Vietnam-veteran John McCain.
De studie Friese taal en cultuur aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen (RUG) heeft tot nu toe een (1) inschrijving opgeleverd. Dat staat vandaag in de Leeuwarder Courant. De krant geeft als mogelijke verklaring voor het geringe aantal inschrijvingen dat het niet helemaal duidelijk is of de opleiding is om de Friese taal aan of af te leren. In ieder geval is wel zeker dat Rintje Ritsma eindelijk is gestopt? Nou maar duimen dat ie niet wordt uitgeloot.
Het is u misschien wel eens opgevallen. Drasties steekt soms de gek aan met mensen die menen iets zeker te weten. Wij zelf weten namelijk niets, en zelfs daar zijn we niet zeker van. Heeft drasties daarmee een nieuwe trend gezet in Paranormaal Nederland.
Het lijkt er op.
De laatste tijd schiet namelijk het ene na het andere satirische Paranormale blog de Hollandse grond uit. Of, misschien beter geformuleerd, ziet het ene na het andere Satirisch Begaafde blog het licht. Men denkt natuurlijk als die De Wit het kan, dan kan het niet moeilijk zijn. Helaas, dat berust op een misverstand. Satire is niet zo eenvoudig als het lijkt. Een eerste vereiste is bijvoorbeeld dat je mensen de gek aansteekt die dommer zijn dan jezelf. En, we moeten eerlijk zijn, die zijn voor onze Paranormaal Begaafde vrienden niet zo eenvoudig te vinden.
Laten we eens kijken wat er recent zo al is verschenen.
Het begon enkele weken geleden met ‘Drasties Blog - wij delen graag tikjes uit!’ Nu heet het trouwens ‘Drasties Blog - parodie op ons stoute broertje’. Daarmee was JdeW al zeer in zijn sas want van welk blog wordt een persiflage gemaakt? GeenStijl? Joop? Ik dacht het niet. En dat is allemaal bereikt met simpel copy/paste.
Maar daarmee hield het niet op. Gisteren kwamen we het gloednieuwe drasties.wazzup tegen. Verder hakt ook het net begonnen paranormaalblog.wazzup met verve op JdeW in. En laten we het nieuwe blog van Isabel Blanco niet vergeten: paranormaal.web-log.
In deze blogs wordt JdeW satirisch neergezet als lokhomo, amateur bioloog, flutblogger, grootste trekker, pseudohoer, dorp idioot sheriff…
Opgelet nu paranormale vrienden. We gaan iets over satire prijsgeven. Satire is als je niet precies de waarheid vertelt maar de halve of nog minder. Dus bijvoorbeeld dat je zegt dat JdeW een rashetero, een afgestudeerde bioloog, een fantastische blogger en een stadsmens is. Kijk, dat is nou satire. Ik zou zeggen, zet hem op!

Het Yantai stadspark in Shandong in China gaat voorkomen dat bezoekers in parken te lang op een bank blijven zitten. De banken zijn voorzien van stalen pennen in de zitting die door een geldautomaat worden aangestuurd. Blijft volk te lang lanterfanten zonder de meter te voeren, dan schieten de stalen pennen omhoog. Onaangekondigd!
Het idee is niet onopgemerkt gebleven. De provincie Zuid-Holland zou studeren op plannen om het systeem aan te brengen op veel door Duitsers bezochte stranden. En volgens Ruud Lulgit zou de voetbalbond bekijken of het systeem als experiment in bepaalde ’saaie’ stadions kan worden aangebracht. Bij een doelpunt worden de pennen dan in beweging gezet.
Wat zouden wij er van vinden als, zeg maar wat, De Telegraaf en GeenStijl de campagne van de PVV zouden gaan financieren? Of de EO een miljoen euro zou geven aan de ChristenUnie?

Leven in de brouwerij. Hoera!
Maar gaat de voetbalclub Vitesse in Arnhem er op vooruit? Of gaat er na Keizer Karel weer een manische depressieve figuur aan detouwtjes trekken? Merab Jordania gaat flink wat geld in de club steken. Hij wil topspelers halen en binnen drie jaar kampioen van Nederland worden. Dat gaat lukken want het is een vriend van Roman Abramovich (voorheen Chelsea).

Well you don’t have to look any further than this. The difference between the Bush Tax Cuts and the proposed Obama tax plan.
Both do have cuts across the economic spectrum but one group benefits somewhat more by keeping the Bush tax cuts in place. These cuts add $36 billion to next year’s deficit and are set to expire at the end of 2010.

Ik hoor van Peter wat er in Nederland allemaal gebeurd dat zijn veel nieuwe dingen gaaf om te horen. Ook zie ik steeds vaker dofijnen echt super vet om te zien en het water is hier zo mooi blauw.
De koers die we varen is zuid 181 graden, afstand afgelegd nu 704 mijl mooi weer en lekker windje.
CNN was the first cable news to pick up on a story of well known US radiohost Laura Schlessinger who used the word NIGGER eleven times on the air while responding to the call of a black woman. Since than the network has run four segments on it since. MSNBC reported on Schlessinger’s remarks twice already today. But how many segments has Fox News run? According to a ThinkProgress review of the network’s coverage, zero.

Hoe groot de bezorgheid in Nederland in het algemeen en CDA-stemmers in het bijzonder is over de gedoogsteun van Geert Wilders (PVV) voor een VVD-CDA kabinet blijkt uit de reacties op de handtekeningenactie van bezorgde CDA-leden.
Niet minder dan 124 (schrijve: honderd-vier-en-twintig) Nederlanders hebben de lijst tegen samenwerking met de PVV al ondertekend en alles wijst er op dat nog deze maand de 200 (schrijve: tweehonderd) zal worden gehaald.
Dagblad Trouw publiceerde de oproep - wijstaanvooronzegrondrechten.org - eerder deze week op de voorpagina. En vandaag signaleert de krant ‘toenemende bezorgdheid’ en ‘onrust’ binnen het CDA.
The Swedish carmaker Saab, just months ago on the brink of collapse, is upgraded by an international credit rating agency – although the financial difficulties are far from over. Saab — acquired by Dutch sports carmaker Spyker from General Motors — is now being awarded top rating by credit rating agency Creditsafe, saying the Swedish company has “good credit-worthiness”.
