The company hosting two websites of pastor Terry Jones Dove World Church - islamisofthedevil.com and doveworld.org - shut them down today, saying the sites had violated the company’s policy against hate speech.
We really hope Pastor Bob Old from Springfield is very careful since he is planning to do the burning of a Quran in his own house. He has to do it there, because the Baptist minister no longer has his own congregation. Wonder why?
He is going to video the burning ceremony and than post it on the internet.
Why is he doing that?
Because Reverend Bob Old thinks there should be no muslims in the U.S.A. That means I presume he thinks there should be no Christians in a Muslim country? Or Christians in a Hindu or Budhist country? So apparently he is full of understanding for the actions of radical Islam trying to get rid of other religions in their countries?

Hier is hij weer: Wesley J. Smith. De conservatieve Amerikaan is tegen euthanasie, het zelfbeschikkingsrecht van mensen over hun eigen dood. Hij heeft het vooral op Nederland voorzien, zo blijkt weer eens uit dit artikel. Het gaat over het laten sterven in Nederland van doodzieke pasgeboren babies, die geen kans hebben op een levenswaardig bestaan, hetgeen hij vergelijkt met de praktijken van de Nazi’s.
Iemand overigens een idee wat het Gronningen Protocol is?

1920-1980: Tijdens het communisme is veel literatuur in de Sovjet-Unie verboden. Zo ontstaat ‘ondergrondse’ literatuur: de samizdat. Die wordt met carbonpapier getypt en doorgegeven. Opmerkelijk is dat het boek en de film uitgerekend in een islamitisch land als Iran zijn verboden. Dat is daar gebeurd op verzoek van een kleine groep christelijke leiders.
Boeken van Luther werden verbrand op bevel van de toenmalige paus. De boeken van Luther zouden tegen het gezag van de paus ‘en dus tegen Gods wil’ ingaan.

Ah hahaha, see it’s funny because all Muslims do is kill people. Especially American Muslims, who Lester claims don’t contribute to this country at all, like the 9/11 hijackers, who weren’t American. Of doen wij weer onder voor de Fransen? Die staan namelijk ‘met open armen klaar’ om de te verwachten stroom van vluchtende Walen en Brusselaars op te vangen. Dat schrijft de Franse Gaullist Nicolas Dupont-Aignan. De parlementariër is er van overtuigd dat het vechten wordt in België. Hij roept Frankrijk op nu al voorbereidingen te treffen voor de Walen die moeten vluchten voor rovende en plunderende Vlamingen. Gezegd moet worden dat JdeW grote waarde hecht aan de uitspraken van dit parlementslid want - eerlijk is eerlijk - Fransen weten natuurlijk alles van op de vlucht slaan.
Maar als het inderdaad vechten wordt in België, en Frankrijk trekt het land binnen om de Walen te beschermen, wat gaat Nederland dan doen? En ik geef u op een briefje dat die Fransen gelijk het meest aantrekkelijke deel van België gaan bezetten: kiesdistrict Brussel-Halle-Vilvoorde. Daarom deze vraag. Laten we ons land opnieuw afpakken door die Franse katholieken of steken we daar een STOKJE voor!

Dutchman Patrick de Bruin has offered to donate his sperm to four fertility clinics in the Netherlands in an effort to promote what he calls “a strong white race”. Neo-Nazi De Bruin (in English:The Brown) attached the condition that his sperm should only be used for white couples’ infertility treatment.
More remarkable even is that two clinics in the Netherlands agreed to his conditions, an investigation by public broadcaster VARA revealed. One of the hospitals later decided to destroy the sperm donated by the ideologically motivated donor. The incident prompted calls from fertility doctors for stricter guidelines.
De Bruin wrote on an extreme-right web forum that he was donating his “Aryan seed” in order to compensate for the high birth rate among Muslims. He wants as many blond blue-eyed children to be born as possible, he wrote on the site: Stormfront.

A Perth man has failed to have a restraining order slapped on high-profile Dutch crime reporter Peter R. de Vries and his TV crew. Daniel Ian Ross appeared in Perth Magistrates Court yesterday to apply for a violence restraining order on Dutch TV crime reporter Peter R. de Vries and two of his colleagues. He failed.
The Sydney Morning Herald - Mr Ross claimed he had been harassed by the Dutch crew when they tried to talk to him at his home in the inner-city suburb of Subiaco last month.

In Australische kranten wordt gezegd dat de Australische geestelijke Feiz Muhammed boos is op Geert Wilders omdat die “een leer van haat predikt. De claim dat ik op de een of andere manier hem heb bedreigd, is niets dan een goedkope publiciteitstunt.”
Sterker nog, Wilders zou Australië willen destabiliseren. Even in herinnering brengen wat deze Islamitische gelovige eerder zei:
“We zien de duivelse vuiligheid van mensen als die vuile Nederlandse politicus. Eenieder die onze leer bespot, lacht om de islam en die verlaagt, moet de dood in, onthoofd hem, hak zijn hoofd eraf.”
Sheikh Feiz ontkent overigens niet dat hij bovenstaande heeft gezegd maar hij stelt keihard dat hij Wilders niet bij naam heeft genoemd.
En we moeten eerlijk zijn, dat klopt.
Dus fijn, dat is dan ook weer opgelost.

Nog maar heel even en dan is het 9/11. Met spanning wordt in de VS uitgekeken naar de aankomst van onze man in den vreemde, Geert Wilders. Op negen september kan hij in New York namelijk helemaal los gaan over de Islam want een rechts kabinet zit er in Nederland toch niet meer in.
Toch kan het wel eens zo zijn dat de aandacht van het soort moslims dat voortdurend op zoek is naar beledigingen van Westerlingen niet gevestigd zal zijn op wat er gebeurd bij Ground Zero maar op een plaats elders in Amerika. De Dove World Church gaat namelijk Korans verbranden om de wereld vooruit te helpen. Het is weliswaar verboden door de rechter maar daar trekken echte Christenen zich niets van aan.
The man who established the popular progressive blog DailyKos, Markos Moulitsas, has written a new book: American Taliban: How War, Sex, Sin and Power Bind Jihadists and the Radical Right. It examines the similarities between Islamic extremists and the American rightwing. Markos already wasn’t very popular in conservative, neocon circles. Maybe because of his Greek name or because he is a homosexual but certainly because he has served in the US army, which most neocons can’t say. But after publishing this book he’s not that popular in some progressive circles too. Many liberals have strongly condemned the book on the ground that it is offensive and misguided to suggest that American conservatives are comparable to Muslim Terrorists by which they mean the Taliban. Glenn Greenwald finds some of these objections both absurd and revealing.
In what universe is it “obscene” to compare the architects of the Iraq War, the torture regime, and endless War with Muslims “to killers and terrorists”? The comparison is true by definition. The people who launched the attack on Iraq are guilty of an aggressive war — what the Nuremberg prosecutors condemned as the “kingpin crime” that “holds together” all other war crimes — which killed hundreds of thousands of innocent human beings, turned millions more into refugees, and destroyed an entire nation. Gaarne wijs ik jullie even op onderstaande foto in de Australische krant de Sydney Morning Herald. En met name het onderschrift: “Equally extreme… Feiz Muhammed and Geert Wilders.” Vinden jullie ook dat het voorstellen om een nieuwe belasting in te voeren (kopvoddentax) even extreem is als het oproepen om iemand te vermoorden. Of specifieker, te onthoofden.
Het staat tussen aanhalingstekens, dat wel.

De Australische imam Feiz Muhammed tijdens een toespraak op een afgeschermde website van jihadisten, naar aanleiding van vragen van Nederlandse radicalen over Geert Wilders: “We zien de duivelse vuiligheid van mensen als die vuile Nederlandse politicus. This is some really crazy shit. The Court of Appeals overturned the conviction of Daniel Millis, convicted of littering because he left sealed bottles of drinking water in a desert wildlife refuge for illegal immigrants. There was just one dissention. Judge Jay Bybee. Right, the judge who wrote the memo to authorize the torture of the Bush-men.
Today the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the conviction of Daniel Millis, convicted of littering because he left sealed bottles of drinking water in a desert wildlife refuge. He explained that he left them “along frequently traveled routes for unlawful entrants to the United States.” He belongs to a group called “No More Deaths,” and the opinion quotes his testimony: “humanitarian aide [sic] is never a crime.”
The majority overturned his conviction because a reasonable person might not understand that leaving drinking water for people dying of thirst is littering. The United States countered that the water bottles constitute “garbage” in the sense of the statute. After foraging through some dictionary definitions of “garbage” and “discarded,” the majority concludes that the regulation is too ambiguous to enforce in this case.

en zo gaat het nog even door. Bij vrienden en vriendinnen die dit lezen zijn er twee reacties. Een deel zegt: ‘wat zielig voor die poes’.
De rest begint te lachen.
Ieder mens die niet ideologisch wordt gedreven en een beetje verstand in zijn kop heeft zou nu moeten weten dat het criminaliseren van drugs zinloos is. Een blinde kip ziet dat het gebruik er niet door afneemt en dat de criminaliteit niet in te dammen is.
Maar u hoeft het niet van een blinde kip aan te nemen. Er is ook objectief controleerbaar onderzoek naar gedaan. Daaruit blijkt dat het gebruik van hard en soft drugs niet toeneemt als je ze uit de criminaliteit haalt en dat de misdaad er om heen sterk afneemt. Je hoeft maar te kijken naar het succes van de heroine-aanpak in Nederland. En in Portugal is het drugsgebruik na de decriminalisatie van drugs in 2001 over de hele linie is afgenomen.
Het is eigenlijk heel simpel. Beleid is succesvol als het mensen accepteert zoals ze zijn. Beleid dat op basis van religie of andere ideologieen mensen in keurslijven dwingt waar ze niet in passen, werkt uiteindelijk niet, nergens, nooit. Laten we hopen dat de VS nu eens het goede voorbeeld geeft.

Dit is wel iets. Twee vliegtuigpassagiers - Ahmed Mohamed Nasser al-Soofi en Hezem al-Murisi - zijn op Schiphol gearresteerd met in hun bagage een lege shampo-fles waaraan horloges waren bevestigd en een lege medicijnfles waaraan mobiele telefoons waren bevestigd. Two men held in the Netherlands may have been trying to test U.S. airport security by putting bottles with electronic devices attached in checked baggage, a U.S. law enforcement source said.
The men were taken into custody after landing in Amsterdam on a flight from Chicago, Illinois, Dutch prosecutors said. In probably the first of many court decisions blocking Republican Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli’s frivolous legal theories, a Virginia judge halted the witchhunt of the global warming sceptic against respected climate change scientist Michael Mann.
The judge found that Cuccinelli failed to provide even a very rudimentary explanation of just what Professor Mann did “that was misleading, false or fraudulent in obtaining funds from the Commonwealth of Virginia.” [read on](more…)
